Social Impact: Giving Back

My mission is to empower women to be their best.  Whilst I love my work and sharing my passion to help others I also want to make it as accessible as possible, to ensure a more diverse representation and increase opportunities across the board for others.

I am committed, where possible, to using the services of other women in business to support the work I do and therefore supporting the work they do too. I often share the stage with other women at my events and enable others to find a platform for their message and work.

The social good part of my work comes from helping others.  It also comes from the support and sponsored work I deliver which includes:

  • Choosing local charities to support through events I hold

  • Supporting charities with similar missions and visions by speaking at their events

  • Offering sponsored places through local charities at events and workshops I run

  • Annual social good donation (minimum 25% of fund across maximum of four charities)

  • Teaching workshops at Wellington Highs Community Education Centre

  • Annual non profit Women Supporting Women events across NZ

I work in partnership with Dress for Success an organisation who help empower women returning to the workforce.  They have been the chosen charity for events across NZ and through them we also nominate individuals to receive free places on my workshops.

Business are now able to book a ‘social good’ package when inviting me to speak and run workshops in their organisations.  This means they are also supporting community groups to receive the same workshop for free.

If you keen to find out more or if you’re a charity or community group and you’d like to work with us, please get in touch.
